SISTER ACT! [vancouver]:
HELLO
MY NAME IS:

Sister Act like to talk about feelings and how they are best friends. Aaron Read is the musical accompanist and also, he is their best friend. Last year, Sister Act produced their very first show (Sister Act! presents: the birthday party) at Little Mountain Studios in Vancouver, BC. It was a very magical night. This is both Bita and Christine's first time being involved in any type of improv festival and they are very excited to be part of the COMBUSTIONfestival this year.

Christine Bortolin:
Christine has been involved in improv for around 7 years. Starting off with the national high school improv competition, the Canadian Improv Games, she has been a performer, coach, and volunteer. She is a graduate of the Instant Theatre Conservatory Program, and a recent grad of the Douglas College Theatre Program. Next year she plans to attend UBC for theatrical studies. She's pretty friendly but probably scared of you. Consider it a compliment.

Bita Joudaki:
Bita has been improvising for 5 years. For the past few years she's been volunteering for the Canadian Improv Games, and has completed a series of Instant Theatre's Conservatory classes. She doesn't know who she is anymore.

Aaron Read:
Aaron has shared his excitement and eagerness for Improvisation with such accomplished groups as AKA Improv (two time nominee for 'Best Improv Group' in the 2006 and 2007 Canadian Comedy Awards) , Vancouver Theatresports League, Rapid Fire Theatre, Instant Theatre, The Storytellers, and now with Sister Act!
