The Cone of Silence is a working prototype (see below) capable of jamming / interfering with any voice recording function of smart devices (e.g. Amazon’s Echo, Google Nest) by flooding them with a loud and distinctly unpleasant sound.
A second version is currently being built – more details coming summer 2023.
