project project: THE WU-TANG CLAN OF TORONTO IMPROV project project: THE WU-TANG CLAN OF TORONTO IMPROV A former member of the improv troupe Laughterbirth, and a graduate of the Second City Conservatory, Jason has been all over the Toronto scene for quite a few years now. He currently performs with the Second City’s Educational & Touring Companies. He is a driving force of the 2008 Canadian Comedy Award-nominated sketch outfit My First Crush (who were invited to perform at the Chicago Improv Festival). Jason is also a member of Canadian Comedy Award winners (and multiple nominees): The Sketchersons and he helps to produce the Toronto Sketch Fest. Nominated for the 2006 Bessie Award for Best Performance in a Commercial (for Whiskas’ “Hank”), Jason was also selected for the 2006 Cream of Comedy Fresh Meat Showcase. Jason improvises with Mantown, PB&J and the Bad Dog Theatre Co. And has the apparent ability to stop time. HELLO MY NAME IS: Jason DeRosse
