THE WU-TANG CLAN OF TORONTO IMPROV Sarah originates from Ottawa Ontario, where she mostly crocheted scarves and put little tiny hats on kittens.
To make her life a little more exciting, Sarah moved to Toronto in 2003, to take Humber College's two year Comedy: Performance and Writing program. After graduating with honors, she decided to focus mostly on improvising, but she still loves to perform sketch.
Sarah has also studied with the Impatient Theatre Co. and performs on the company’s Harold team: Big in Japan which has appeared at the UCB Theatre in New York City as part of the Del Close Marathon for the past three years. Sarah also performs in the group LadyStache, winners of Toronto's 2006 Cage Match, and was a member of the cast of the Bad Dog Theatre’s mainstage production of RPM.
Two summers ago Sarah took the improv intensive at the i.O. Theater in Chicago. There she was taught by Jessica Rogers, Rachael Mason, Bill Arnett, Pat O'Brien and Miles Stroth. She also studied with Susan Messing of the Annoyance Theater. While in Chicago, Sarah performed with her group Lawyer Money, at The Spot and the i.O. Theater.
If she had to pick one song that reminded her of improv, it would be "Rollercoaster of Love" The version by the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
In the future Sarah hopes to be making people laugh and eating lots of pickles.
